We’re on the hunt for a passionate and driven Intern to join our growing London PR team. We’re looking for someone who is keen to kickstart their career in PR and marketing communications and get stuck in across a range of clients in various industries.

The Intern would provide general day-to-day assistance to account teams working in our merged-media agency, across a range of blue chip clients. The role would include (but not exclusive to) media and social monitoring, research and insight, content development, reporting, influencer identification and management as well as supporting our teams across our PR the day-to-day management and running of the accounts.

We’re looking for a self-starter who is eager to learn across several disciplines, industries and clients, flexible and happy to get stuck in, and ultimately wants to
be part of our close-knit and fast paced growing agency.

The role would be based in our eclectic London offices in Kings Cross, which brings together all of the Havas agencies under one roof in the HKX village. Please note, for this job, we would require you to be in the offices 3 days a week minimum.

*This role is part of the HKX Platform x LIFT programme a 6-month in-depth learning experience for people wanting to get into the advertising, communication, and media industry. The programme is ideal for anyone who likes brands, culture, and communication. You’ll be a part of the real team, working on real briefs, doing real work, for real clients.

The programme will run from May – November 2023 and you must be available for full time work for the duration of the programme to be considered.

Essential criteria

  • Knowledge of PR,
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Passion for storytelling, building relationships and securing media coverage
  • A real team player, keen to support their team and create the best possible work
Please check you meet the eligibility requirements:
  • A resident of a LIFT borough (Camden, Hackney, Islington, and Tower Hamlets)
  • Are Aged 18-25 or Aged 25+ and from an underrepresented community including people from black and Asian minority ethnic backgrounds, women, lone parents and those with a disability.
  • Have a keen interest in starting a career in the advertising, communication, and media industry
  • Are looking to take your first steps in the sector with a paid internship
  • Are available and committed to paid work for the full 6-month placement
  • This programme aims to create opportunities for people with little or no experience of the creative industries, and we will prioritise applicants with less than six month’s relevant work experience.
