Sponge Design Internship
Employer: Revolt
Contract: Internship – fixed term for 8 weeks
Hours: 5 days a week / 37.5 hours a week
Salary: London Living Wage: £14.80 per hour / £111 per day
Location Farringdon – Hybrid working – 3 days in the office and 2 from home

About the role
Looking to take your first step into the creative industry but not quite sure where to turn? Introducing Sponge: Internships — our new 8-week paid programme designed to expand your skills and experience. Offering three internships across our Design, Creative and Strategy teams, we’re focused on supporting underrepresented talent to break into the industry, First up this year: Design — an opportunity to understand 
how identities and campaigns are crafted whilst getting hands-on 
with the creative process inside our studio.
Our internships are structured across three phases: Absorption - Absorb and soak up what studio life is like, Immersion - Immerse into work, experimentation & research and Expansion - Expand your portfolio and presentation skills, 
getting ready to enter the creative industries.

Our internships are paid at the London Living Wage, and 
we’ll provide the equipment you need to do your best work, 
including a laptop for the duration of your internship.

Duties

What you’ll be doing:
As part of our design team, you will:
• Get involved in client projects, supporting ideation, concept development and bringing ideas to life
• Work with our social team to create assets for our social channels
• Help on research and internal projects that support the wider agency
• Share creative inspiration, insights and interesting work you’ve discovered
• Get stuck into studio life, collaborating with the team and learning along the way

    Having a finished portfolio isn’t important to us, it’s about demonstrating why your interested in design. Please upload 3 images in a PDF, these images should be images you have made and are proud of. Beneath each picture write a short explanation (max 200 words) to describe your image and why your proud of it

    Final Checks:
    • Are you a resident of a LIFT borough (Camden, Hackney or Islington) aged 18+?
    • Do you have right to work in the UK?


    • Can you confirm you are available for an 8-week period from May 2026 and are able to attend the office based in Farringdon 3 days a week?

    Why LIFT and a limited application area?

    Applications are limited to residents of Camden, Hackney and Islington. While we understand that this may mean some individuals can’t apply, we believe it is important 
to be an active part of our local community, ensuring under represented talent get the support they need. We are currently exploring how Sponge can expand to our other office locations to give non-Camden, Hackney and Islington residents future opportunities.

    LIFT is a partnership between the boroughs of Camden, Hackney
